Hi, I'm Tom Jenkins. I am from Westhampton, and have over 20 years experience as a professional Forester.

I have a great respect for our forests, and work hard to leave as little impact as possible. I also have a great respect for my customers, and can help you work through complex land use decisions. I take a long-term approach to increase the health and value of your forest land, not only for timber but also for wildlife habitat and recreational access.  I work with both large sawmills and local owner operators to                                                                             reach the individual goals of my clients.

Tom Jenkins has taken care of our beloved woods at Patchwork Farm Retreat for many years. He is our trusted forester, reliable designer with us of our Chapter 61 plans, and valued friend. After the devastating ice storm in December 2008, Tom not only helped us apply for and receive a grant to improve our 103 acres of mountainous, forested land, he oversaw a three-year project to do the work, and put his hand and saw to the task. Tom is smart, experienced, skilled and dedicated to his work. He is also someone I look forward to seeing—positive, generous and interesting. I appreciate that he uses his oxen in the woods, when he can, and that he clearly enjoys his children. Anyone looking for an excellent forester should choose Tom Jenkins.
